Blog: The Needle Drop

Because the library I type these reviews often has loud talkers, my mind is a tad scrambled. The one thing I can figure out through the fugue and the fog is: Hot damn. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds have done it again. The first song announces Dig!!! Lazarus Dig!!! will rock you. The eponymous song has the feeling of Louise Louise, where one senses the band having fun in the studio, with cowbells, strange keyboard oscillations, and those marvelous, detailed lyrics.
