Chihei Hatakeyama's latest solo effort, Minima Moralia, is a minimalist, electro-acoustic album that is intended to evoke specific images and experiences in the listeners mind. To keep it short and simple, it's a very ethereal, almost existential, experience. To produce the sounds heard on the album, Hatakeyama recorded acoustic instruments such as guitar, piano, vibraphone and then prcoessed them multiple times through his laptop.
