One of the big current hopes of the Irish music scene are Dark Room Notes. Possibly best described as electro-rock, they've got a great sound that stands out from many other Irish bands around at the moment. Check out their site where you can pick up a couple of ep's. Again being away from Ireland I've missed seeing them live but they're getting some great reviews so hopefully when I'm back they'll be playing somewhere.
