Easily one of my records of the year is the debut We Brave Bee Stings and All from Kill Rock Stars artist Thao and her band The Get Down Stay Down. It is full of charming, summery, pop choruses and dancing rhythms. All backed by lyrics about death, break ups and other dark things.
