Everyone seems to really enjoy Thao Nguyen [ Myspace ], but I can't really seem to classify what she does. The San Francisco-based musician (who tours and records as Thao and the Get Down Stay Down ) sounds an awful lot like Cat Power , but I think she's quite awesome and could just care less what we "should" call her and her posse.
