It's hard not to admire anyone who can make music revival more than an exercise in nostalgia. In this case, Seattle's the Dutchess & the Duke are bringing back the 60s folk movement with defibrillator in hand. The Dutchess & the Duke are an acoustic, singer/songwriter duo; it's a dynamic that's been tried and tried again, but the duo's ear for songwriting and lazy vocal harmonies will wipe out any hangups about the band's makeup.
