I was intrigued when I heard that Mudcrutch (Tom Petty's old/new band) planned to release a limited-edition double LP of their belated debut album accompanied by a special "Full Dynamic Range" Audiophile CD that would sound different from the standard, dynamically compressed, mass-market CD.
