Pyscho-blues from Scissormen (plus an update on Tim Lee's new record and a politically charged Blaze Foley cover from Timesbold) Scissormen will see their first nationally distributed disc via Red Eye this September. They just played Bonnaroo and claim to have made a big splash (from the looks of the photo above I'll take them at their word). The record is called Luck In A Hurry and is a dirty, bluesy affair. "Tupelo" is one of the few blues songs you'll ever hear with a vibraphone intro. It's a mudddy, distorted track that suits its subject matter to a T. Tupelo ----- [...]
