Blog: The Beat!

Here's a track taken from the frankly awful Bowie biopic 'Velvet Goldmine'. Thought this was kinda relevant as two of the people involved are now producing the biggest albums around. Brian Eno (who wrote it) has just done the new Coldplay record and Bernard Butler (who plays on it) is riding high in the charts with Duffys record. The Venus in Furs were a band made up for the film and consisted of Radiohead's Thom York and Jonny Greenwood, Suede's Bernard Butler, Roxy Music's Andy Mackay and David Gray.
