Wow. I guess I didn't realize there were so many musical Eds. For one, there's Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg, who looks amazingly like Mark Twain. Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King" was an early success for '70s progmeisters ELO... ELO, "In the Hall of the Mountain King" Switching over to rap, Special Ed had a 1989 hit with this song...
