The Great Northwest's debut, The Widespread Reign of the Great Northwest , (released 29th July on The Kora Records ) is the perfect record for the current long summer evenings; an album you can blissfully lose yourself in for the best part of an hour to it's trancelike charms. Once won't be enough though; lovingly textured and clearly designed as a complete listen - everytime you play-through the album's 13 tracks you'll hear and appreciate new layers, instruments, lyrics.
