Dancehall and ragga have never been my music choices at home. Yet, with 'London Zoo', I found myself strangely drawn to the extreme melting pressure of The Bug's sounds. This is a deeply futuristic album drawing on Caribbean heritage - and, as such, featuring some fierce MC-ing. The lyrical content is intelligent, intelligible and interesting. The bass-lines are deeply sonic and the drums
