Chugging, heavy local duo The Ax just posted a few new, unmastered tracks from their upcoming full-length, "Our Queen of Dirt." The shit sounds like it was recorded at Steve Albini's Electrical Audio studio, but it actually came from Portland's own Old Standard Sound . The band is preparing to take off on the strangest tour I've seen in some time: seven shows in Washington state, four in Oregon and one each in Montana and Idaho. Fucking yokels.
