Stream: Fast Times at Barrington High Although I've always dismissed the emo boy band scene as gimmick-driven drivel, there's something about The Academy Is... that seems genuine and musically mature. Their latest effort Fast Times at Barrington High (in stores tomorrow) is a concept album, each song an ode to fading high school memories. The tunes range from energetic love songs ("About a Girl") to nostalgic anthems ("Coppertone") to poignant ballads ("After the Last Midtown Show").
