These two bands have more in common aside from both being male/female duos. Both bands' music is rather haunting and pulsating at the same time, a lovely combination. On their debut album, London's Vanilla Swingers weave an elaborate yet touching tale of finding, leaving and reclaiming life and love through the magic of time travel. A lot of their songs have a hushed quality about them, although they do let loose on occasion and the tension becomes more evident. [...]
