Great track – you're spot on about the sax solo though. It's like the guy couldn't really be bothered that day. I haven't played this for yonks – the album Billy Cobham did before this one, 'Spectrum', is a real killer. Featuring the eclectic talents of pre-Miami Vice theme Jan Hammer on Moog and the late Tommy Bolin on guitar… I'll have to post something from that at some stage. Cobham funks in 17/8 time on another track from 'Crosswinds' – the ludicrously titled 'Spanish Moss – A Sound Portrait'...
