Mr. Gnome 's press release says something like "when Cat Power meets Death From Above 19793 . I was surprised with this statement and clicked in their YouTube video (this one posted here) of Night of the Crickets and... wow! Nicolle Barille voice is sweet, the melody is sometimes post-punk or prog, very peculiar. The video is great. It's all weird enough to be here and more than enough to be in my playlist.
