Most bands who played the Pemberton Festival in Pemberton, British Columbia earlier this summer just came and left. They played the festival and hauled ass back to the US. I was hoping a few might stick around and play a show or two in Vancouver, but that wasn't the case. My Morning Jacket and The Secret Machines almost got me to attend the festival, but unlike most BC residents, I hate camping. That's right, I'm a "running hot water and electricity" city-boy.
