My phone lit up with a text from a friend earlier today, laughing at the fact that the NFL is using a cover of Morrissey 's "Every Day is Like Sunday" as music to advertise its football games. Even funnier, the song is skillfully edited, so the lines about armageddon, nuclear war and the Sunday being "silent and grey" are omitted. (I'm a Cleveland Browns fan, so perhaps it would have been appropriate to have left those in for us. Just sayin'.) Some poking around the Internet did not yield any answers [...]
