Hot Chip are recording a cover of Joy Division's 'Transmission' for the nest War Child album. Frontman Alexis Taylor told the BBC about the cover: "It is totally different from Joy Division's original version. It is much more Caribbean-sounding because it features steel pans as the lead instrument." He also talked about the songs for their next album: "The songs are more mid-tempo and disco influenced at the moment," he explained.
