Moose formed in London in 1990 and released their debut EP "Jack" through Hut Records the following year. The EP was well recieved and of course Mr Peel soon picked up on them and booked them for a session. Three EP's were released in 1991, all of them excellent but the following year the band moved off in a different musical direction for the release of their debut album "...XYZ" and didn't quite pull it off.
