Suddenly, millions of college students everywhere are beside themselves with grief. Richard Wright, seminal keyboardist for Pink Floyd , has passed away of cancer today at the age of 65. Wright was an original member of Pink Floyd, dating back to their Sigma 6 days, and has played on all but one of the band's 14 studio albums. The self-taught keyboardist is known for co-developing the signature Pink Floyd sound.
