R.I.P: Richard Wright (Pink Floyd) Richard Wright, one of the founding members of Pink Floyd, passed away yesterday in his home due to cancer. He was 65. Wright was primarily the keyboardist for Pink Floyd, but also did his own share of songwriting for some of the band's albums, as well as vocal contributions. In 2005, the band reunited for the first time in 24 years and made a memorable performance at the Live 8 concert in London. Fellow founding member Syd Barrett passed away in 2006 due to pancreatic cancer. [...]
