Formed by singer David Byrne, drummer Chris Frantz, and bassist Tina Weymouth when they were students at the Rhode Island School Of Design and taking their name from a TV Guide article, Talking Heads were part of the fertile New York music scene of the late '70s which also produced acts like Blondie, The Ramones, and Patti Smith.
