Coeur de Pirate is 18 year old, Béatrice Martin, who plays the piano since age of three. After five years of music-education, it is in March 2007 when she starts to compose her own songs. Members of Hello Brumaire notice her and asked her to join their group where she worked as a clavierist and a feminine voice. This spring Béatrice left the group to concentrate on Cœur of Pirate, her solo-project. With only four concerts with its credit, it is MySpace that gives Cœur of Pirate its fame.
