My Bloody Valentine to record new album
The Guardian is reporting that legendary noise/shoegaze outfit My Bloody Valentine are planning to finally record a new album. Songwriter and band leader Kevin Shields explained: I realised that all that stuff I was doing in 1996 and 1997 was a lot better than I thought The record will be the band's first in 17 years. The band released Loveless in 1991 but split up while trying to record the follow up for major label Island Records.
