New Fast Automatic Dafodils or New FADS as it's easier to call them formed in 1988 in Manchester. Their debut single "Lions" appeared the following year on Playtime Records and was quickly followed by the wonderful "Music Is Shit EP". Their debut album "Pigeonhole" appeared in 1990 along with what was in my opinion their finest tune, "Big" which reached number fourteen in that years Festive Fifty.
