Broadfield Marchers: The Inevitable Continuing Brothers Mark and Dustin Zdobylak from Louisville, Kentucky are clearly immersed in the work of bands like Guided By Voices, REM and the Shins judging by their album of melodic, guitar-based power-pop. There are 19 songs and if you listen to more than a few it soon becomes clear that there's little divergence from formula. However, a number still stand out: 'Raul' is a feast if you're hungry for guitars, with its choppy Television-style solo, and 'Sad Earth Maze' sounds like a lo-fi, high quality Shins song while the ultra-melodic 'Following Lines' is chock-full of shimmering and jangly [...]
