Former Garbage bandmate Shirley Manson let slip during a TV interview that Butch Vig would be producing the upcoming Green Day album. A fact which no one seemed aware of. The pop-punk behemoths have kept a veil of secrecy over their new full-length, only departing from the shroud to release an album under the guise of Foxboro Hot Tubs in April of this year.
