Here's a little known fact about Metallica's Lars Ulrich: he is a serious art collector. I know he's got a couple of works from my favorite contemporary painter, Francis Bacon, and he really digs Jean-Michel Basquiat. It has been announced Ulrich will auction off a Basquiat painting that could set a new auction record for the artist, Christie's said Friday.
