The fathers of "pop-punk" (think Blink 182, Good Charolotte) are back in the studio again laying the foundation for what will be their 8th LP. For the new disc, Greenday enlisted the services of Garbage producer, Butch Vig, as was hinted at last week by Garbage's Shirley Manson. The confirmation comes in the form of a video that surfaced over the weekend (see it below). Greenday's last LP, American Idiot , ended the 2005 as one of the year's best, and we'll have to wait and see what direction their new one takes. What is your favorite [...]
