A couple of weeks ago, the forward-thinking Jason from The Pop Cop emailed IGIF and about fifteen other blogs around the world seeking their participation in what he called a way to "introduce your favourite music to a worldwide audience [that] would show the strength of the music blogging community in a way that has never been done before." Hyperbole aside, his idea was simple: have a collection of music blogs around the world choose one song from a band from their countries which would then be collected and posted on each blog. [...]
