Looks like we won't be getting renditions of any "Giddy Stratospheres" or "Weekend Without Makeup" from a live setting anytime soon. At least coming from the original composers. Citing a seizure experienced by guitarist Dorian Cox last summer, which caused the band to cancel a scheduled opening stint with Duran Duran and put his future in doubt, The Long Blondes have decided to split.
