As the clocks went back an hour last night, many people will become aware that it's getting very wintry out there all of a sudden. A few minutes ago I found myself sitting down with a bowl of home-made soup and a cucumber sandwich (as the crusts are still on I retain my manliness), and I got to thinking about the perfect song to welcome the long, cold nights ahead.
