Blog: heartbreak tango

I think that what makes this song, by London's Stricken City , is the non-breathy vocal turn from Rebekah Raa. Sounding bolder and less flimsy than much of her indie cohorts, Raa steals "Lost Art" from the pretty snazzy, decidedly London-y, happenings behind her. I was just thinking about Beat Happening this morning, and wishing that they would get ripped off more (seriously), and then I heard this, and was a little bit satisfied.
