This is one of those bands where's I've heard the name for years, but have never had the opportunity to really sit down with their music. Or go see them live. I'm currently enjoying going through third LP from Halifax's Contrived (out on Hand Drawn Dracula Nov. 11th) titled blank, blank, blank . Produced by Dave Neufeld ( Broken Social Scene, Super Furry Animals ), the band has apparently shifted their harder rock sound for something with more pop sensibilities.
