With the HBO import Summer Heights High , Australian comedian Chris Lilley should be applauded for perhaps the highest degree of difficulty ever attempted in an half-hour comedy series. Not only is Lilley the creator and writer here, but he also plays three of the main characters, with a similar abandon that UK chameleon (and previous HBO vet) Tracy Ullman has shown in her past series.
