
The latest from Okkervil River (a band deeply entrenched in my heart and brain) starts with some acoustic guitar and gently plucked banjo and simply refuses to quit bringing the poppy-folky rock. I've been meaning to review this album for quite some time (it was released September 9th), but I'm just now getting around to it. My love affair with Okkervil River is recent and passionate, as affairs are wont to be.
