The Futureheads ' work is never done, and your being gone certainly isn't helping. New download-only single "I Wouldn't Be Like This If You Were Here" bashes sharp-edged guitars and hard-charging rhythms against the English band's familiar Sunderland-accented shouts and a set of lonesome if not top-notch lyrics. The song was apparently recorded at the same time as this spring's relatively disappointing This Is Not the World , though it's just now making the rounds.
