Oberst's eponymous solo album just came out a few months ago, but the man and his Mystic Valley Band are already folding new songs into their set. There were a couple new ones (and a Paul Simon cover) in Austin at the end of September and last night they performed "Nicorette," also recently popping up live , on Late Night . You can watch it at Hulu . Indie bands playing new songs on late night talk shows is a trend we can get used to.
