[recap] 2008 mtvu woodie awards

last night roseland ballroom played host to the 2008 mtvu woodie awards. several good acts performed including: cool kids, lykke li (with q tip), santogold (now just 'santi'), spank rock and vampire weekend with chromeo. nobody really cares about the actual award winners, but you can see who won below. hair gel and tight jeans were, once again , par for the course. honestly, i felt old and had to use the info sheet mtv happily handed out to identify most of the bands and presenters. i guess you could say this was [...]
