
Australia's AC/DC was a band in transition as the '80s dawned. Over the course of seven albums, beginning with 1975's TNT , the hard rock act had slowly and steadily built up an audience that extended far beyond their homeland. 1979's Highway To Hell had placed them on the cusp of stardom, breaking into the Top Twenty in the US.
