In this weeks issue of NME Vampire Weekend discussed the state of their second album. They are set to start on the next album next month. Frontman Ezra Koenig told the NME: "We're looking forward to starting, We're leaving the beginning of the year totally open, then we're going to play a couple of shows in Mexico. Hopefully by then we'll have a fully formulated idea of the album, and when we get back we can finish it".
