"The Killers is an American rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada. Formed in 2002, the group consists of Brandon Flowers (vocals, keyboards), Dave Keuning (guitar, vocals), Mark Stoermer (bass guitar, vocals) and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. (percussion, drums)." "The band began writing the tracks for Day & Age while on the road during the Sam's Town tour. Work on the album was conducted on an international basis, with demos made in Las Vegas sent to producer Stuart Price in London over the Internet, who then called back to discuss the recordings.
