
The Rumble Strips were formed by the failure of another band called Vincent Vincent & The Villains who in my opinion lacked one of the few "V" words they left out of their name - Variety. Rumbles lead singer Charlie Waller abandoned the group to rejoin with old school friends and having followed the band for a while this seems to have been a great move to make. The Rumble Strips can be a reviewer's nightmare. Their sound is hard to compare with anyone else and they really are in a genre of their own. [...]
