He's retired from touring (well, after he plays a couple of shows to the big-money audiences in Dubai, anyway), but George Michael is apparently still interested in putting out new music; today he premiered "December Song (I Dreamed Of Christmas)" on British radio, and the song will be available for purchase come Christmas Day.
