12/02/08 Vampire Weekend at the 9:30 Club I'm finally back to blogging. I apologize to anyone that has missed me. Long hours on the campaign trail really sidetracked my writing, but I'm finally back at it. I caught Vampire Weekend at the 9:30 club on Tuesday night, and I was excited to see them again after their well-played set I caught in Colorado earlier this fall. It was nice to experience their sound in a more intimate venue than the magestic Red Rocks amphitheatre. I think the smaller venue translated into a better overall experience, and it was good to see DC's citizens actually move [...]
