In seven days the forces of WNYU will celebrate the awesome fact that they have been in operation for three-and-a-half decades with a massive blowout at the Knitting Factory . It's the last month that the venue will operate in it's NYC location (remember, they're moving to Williamsburg?). The station has hosted a number of great live acts over the years, including Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Circle Jerks and this year the likes of Marnie Stern, Homosexuals and Fuck Buttons.
