Blog: Indie MP3 - Keeping C86 Alive

The Hot Toddies are a new band on me. I've been listening to their My Space this past hour or so and on the strength of the songs have just ordered their début LP "Smell The Mitten". They describe their sound as blending 60's pop, doo-wop, and beautiful harmonies. And I can't really argue with that - the sweet sounding 'HTML' recalls the classic 60s girl group sound while "Motorscooter" is a joy filled guitar stomp (sounding a little like Slow Down Tallahassee to these ears).
