Grammar: Get in the Van, We Have Candy Grammar 's Brent Pulse and Lizz Kannenberg met on a late-night Chicago el train. Brent attempted to lift her copy of Franny and Zooey as she nodded off. What should have resulted in a spray of mace turned into a discussion of who performed a better karaoke version of Bowie's "Queen Bitch." The two got off the el and retreated to a studio apartment for three days where many an album would be heard.
